Before beginning...
As always, it's advisable to see your doctor before beginning any physical exercise. Once you've got the clear, starting out depends on how fit you are. There are many reasons why people begin running - lose weight, relieve stress, etc.

Start slow!...
Don't over do it and you'll have fewer injuries, sore muscles and more inclined to continue your training.

Set goals...
It's important to set goals, it's gives you motivation. Beginners can start with 30 mintutes of walking and running four times per week, then later build up to mileage goals. Or choose a race as your goal, for example, a local 5k(3miles). But remember, don't give up!
